Commercial A/C Installation for a Hamilton Food Bank

AirPro Heating & Cooling recently completed a commercial air conditioning upgrade for a local food bank building in Hamilton. The project included installing two new Trane XR A/C systems and updating the existing furnace venting.

Two New Trane XR A/C Systems

Commercial buildings need dependable cooling to maintain a comfortable indoor environment throughout the summer. For this project, our team installed two Trane XR outdoor A/C units to serve the building’s cooling needs.

The new systems will help provide reliable and efficient cooling for the food bank’s staff, volunteers and visitors during warmer weather.

Our installation work included:

• Positioning both outdoor A/C units

• Installing the equipment on level condenser pads

• Completing the refrigerant piping connections

• Checking electrical and system connections

• Testing the systems for proper operation

The two outdoor units were carefully positioned to allow appropriate airflow and future service access.

Furnace Venting Upgraded From ABS to PVC

During the project, we also replaced the existing ABS furnace exhaust venting with PVC venting appropriate for the equipment and installation requirements.

Proper furnace venting is important for safe and reliable operation. The updated PVC vent pipes were routed and terminated outside the building with suitable positioning and clearance.

This additional upgrade allowed us to address both the building’s cooling equipment and an important part of its existing heating system during the same project.
